Eliana is a BFA 2025 Candidate at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for Costume Technology. Eliana is a costume technician with a keen eye for silhouette, proportion, and detail. Her background as a dancer has informed not only a grasp of a performer’s needs for costumes, but also discipline, an ability to thrive under pressure, and flexibility. Their professional endeavors thus far have fostered unique problem solving skills that have enriched her education beyond standard curriculum. Specializing in historical costumes, corsetry, tailoring, and dancewear, Eliana strives to honor the vision of the designer in a way that seamlessly fits into their world. Her work philosophy values transparency, communication, preparedness, grace, and community. When not in the shop, Eliana enjoys playing board games with their friends, dancing, and petting cats.
